Nach einem im Jahr 2021 begonnenen Prozess hat Sant'Anselmo einen entscheidenden Schritt bei der Entwicklung eines Corporate Designs unternommen, das sein gesamtes internes und externes Erscheinungsbild prägen wird. Dieses neue Design verkörpert den Charakter, den die Verwaltung von Sant'Anselmo in allen Initiativen und Kommunikationen vermitteln möchte.
Kurz nach seiner Wahl im September ernannte Abtprimas Jeremias Schröder Pater Brendan Coffey, Abt emeritus der Abtei Glenstal in Murroe, County Limerick, Irland, zum Prior des Collegio Sant’Anselmo. Pater Brendan wird am 7. Januar die formelle Verantwortung für seine neue Aufgabe übernehmen.
Aufgrund politischer Instabilität wurde das Theologische Studienjahr in Jerusalem vorübergehend nach Rom verlegt, wo es sein Programm für Bibelstudien, Ökumene und interreligiösen Dialog fortsetzt. Dank der Unterstützung von Sant’Anselmo hat sich das Programm an einen neuen Kontext angepasst und gleichzeitig Roms reiche historische Verbindungen zum Heiligen Land erkundet.
Der Äbtekongress 2024 rief die benediktinischen Gemeinschaften dazu auf, aktive Friedensstifter zu werden, beginnend in ihren eigenen Klöstern. Inspiriert von der Botschaft der Versöhnung des heiligen Benedikt und dem Appell von Papst Franziskus forderte der Kongress ein erneuertes Engagement für Gebet, Gastfreundschaft und Einheit während des kommenden Heiligen Jahres.
