This is a letter from the Abbot Primate to the Oblates associated with our Benedictine monasteries. He shares news about the establishment of an International Secretariat for Benedictine Oblates and the plans for the next World Congress of Oblates.

The annual Abbots Workshop in Mexico City convened 25 superiors to discuss community well-being, hear Sant'Anselmo updates, and begin planning for the 2029 Jubilee of Monte Cassino.

The Catalogus Working Group of Benedictines held its first full-group meeting to develop a common platform for the two Catalogus volumes. The new volumes of the Catalogus are scheduled for release later this year.

Meeting at the Basilica of Sant’Anselmo with the Benedictine and Dominican communities, Pope Leo XIV began the Lenten Stational Church pilgrimage, moving in penitential procession to the Basilica of Santa Sabina.
