Until recently, Sant’Anselmo had no uniform corporate design comprising the Office of the Abbot Primate, Badia, Collegio and Ateneo. Even within the University, different faculties did not follow a uniform and identifying guideline in the use of the logo.
Following a lengthy and collaborative process that started in 2021, Sant’Anselmo has taken a decisive step forward in developing a corporate design that will shape its overall internal and external image. This new design embodies the character the Sant’Anselmo administration wishes to project across all initiatives and communications.
Sant’Anselmo’s new logo and full corporate design — expertly crafted by Claudio Lavallén OSB from Kremsmünster Abbey in Austria — was formally launched in the Ateneo with the inauguration of the 2022-23 Academic Year. It has been gradually extended to all authorities, departments, and offices within the institution. Each of the three faculties of philosophy, theology and liturgy has its own color, but uses the same design.
This transformation reflects how Sant’Anselmo wishes to be perceived and recognized in the years to come. During the transition, every detail has been carefully managed according to the guidelines set forth in the Corporate Design Manual, which has standardized our visual identity from business cards to conferences. Currently, the last step of its implementation for all of Sant’Anselmo is under way: a signage system for the entire campus, indicating directions to classrooms, offices and other locations.
A beautiful and meaningful design creates identity and identification, unity in diversity. The administration believes that this significant step is part of a broader movement of positive change and advancement for the entire Sant’Anselmo institution.
