- On 6 October, Fr Mauritius Wilde of Münsterschwarzach (St. Ottilien Congregation), Prior in Sant’Anselmo from 2016-2025, was appointed new Abbot of Maria Laach, bringing to an end several years of Apostolic Visitation. At the same time, Fr Maximilian Krenn of Göttweig (Austrian Congregation) was appointed Prior of the abbey.
- On 25 September Abbot Cristiano Claudener Oliveira Carvalho of the abbey of Sao Geraldo at Sao Paulo in Brazil (Hungarian Congregation) resigned.
- On 16 September, Abbot Luiz Pedro Soares OSB of Olinda (Brazilian Congregation) resigned.
- On 11 September, Ludwig Wenzl was elected new Abbot of Melk (Austrian Congregation).
- On 5 September, Abbot Urban Federer was confirmed as Territorial Abbot of Einsiedeln (Swiss Congregation) for a second period of office.
- On 3 September, Abbot Markus Eller of Scheyern was reelected as Abbot President of the Bavarian Congregation.
- The abbey of Ettal (Bavarian Congregation) has communicated that its dependent house at Wechselburg in Saxony will be closed at the end of 2026.
- Fr Noach Heckel of the Abbey of Münsterschwarzach (Congregation of Sankt Ottilien), professor of Canon Law at the Trier Faculty of Theology was appointed consultor of the Dicastery for the Clergy on 28 August.
- On 27 August, the monks of Tororo in Uganda (St. Ottilien Congregation) elected Fr Placidus Gaffa their second conventual prior.
- On 25 August, the monks of Tholey (Beuronese Congregation) elected Fr Wendelinus Naumann their new abbot. His predecessor Abbot Mauritius Choriol had died of a heart attack on 9 July.
- In the last NEXUS an improvised list of active Benedictine Bishops caused some confusion because of omissions and mistakes. Apologies all around! The new Catalogus will eventually give us a complete and accurate overview.
