The DIMMID Board met in Rome from 9-12 January for an in-person session. Discussions with Aaron Maniam (Oxford) covered AI, global developments and community building, concluding with a visit to the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue.
For the feast of the Epiphany, the editors of the NEXUS Bulletin feature John Frontispiece, The Word Made Flesh, a frontispiece from The Saint John’s Bible, a landmark Benedictine project rooted at Saint John’s Abbey.
Draft Catalogus entries are are now being sent to congregational superiors for review. With data collection complete, we have included an illustrative table presenting current statistics of the Benedictine Confederation as of the end of 2024.
From 3–10 November 2025, Benedictine, Cistercian and Trappist communities from across Latin America gathered in Salvador de Bahía for EMLA 2025, reflecting together on fraternity as a monastic and ecclesial vocation.
Father Martin Neyt OSB, a monk of Clerlande Monastery and President of the Alliance for International Monasticism (AIM) from 1997 to 2013, has passed away. His legacy is one of service to the international monastic world.
