Prayer for Our Late Pope Francis
On Tuesday 22 April Abbot Primate Jeremias Schröder and the community of the Primatial Abbey of Sant'Anselmo will celebrate Holy Mass for Pope Francis. We will continue to remember Pope Francis in our prayers during the nine-day period of mourning.

Lord Jesus Christ,
you are the resurrection and the life.
We entrust to you your servant, Pope Francis,
whom you have called from the service of the universal Church.
Grant him the reward promised to faithful shepherds:
eternal joy in your kingdom of peace.
Receive him into the light of your face
and comfort your people who remain in hope.
Amen.
