2018 Meeting of the Synod of Abbots President

Abbot Primate Gregory J. Polan, O.S.B. and the Abbots President of the Benedictine Confederation met together from 10-14 September 2018 at the Abbey of Montecassino for their annual Synod.  During the course of this meeting, the Abbot Primate and Abbots President examined various issues having impact within the Church and across the Benedictine world at large.  In addition, the Synod examined annual reports on the principal activities and events of the Primatial Abbey of Sant’Anselmo, Pontifical Athenaeum of Sant’Anselmo, and Collegio Sant’Anselmo.
