Brother Gabriel died on 8 September the birthday of the Blessed Mother whom he had always revered. He drowned in our monastery pond, thus sadly ending many decades of monastic life in our midst. He had been a man of religious zeal and great faithfulness in all the works entrusted to him in our farm. He was always kind and we miss him.
Requiem with funeral was held on Wednesday, 12 September, at St Ottilien.
