Abbot President Johannes Perkmann OSB chaired the regular General Chapter of the Austrian Benedictine Congregation at Stift Admont, 17-20 October 2021. The monasteries addressed pressing questions from the social and environmental encyclical Laudato si’ by Pope Francis. Particular attention was paid to the vulnerability and the integrity of creation.
