On 17 September 2019, Dom Jean Lambert OSB, a monk priest of the Abbaye Saint-Wandrille de Fontenelle, fell asleep in the peace of the Lord. At the time of his passing, he was in his 95th year of age, 74th year of monastic profession, and 70th year of priesthood.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, 21 September at 10.00 a.m. in the abbey church, followed by interment.
The Benedictine Confederation joins the abbot and monastic community of Saint-Wandrille in praying for the peaceful repose in our Lord of Dom Jean Lambert OSB.
