Dom Daniel Deschamps OSB, monk and priest of Abbaye Saint-Wandrille in France, passed from this life on 16 December 2018 at the age of 86. Born on 12 January 1932, Dom Daniel professed his monastic vows on 25 March 1957 and was ordained a priest on 29 August 1964, thus living over 60 years of monastic life and 53 years of priestly ministry.
The funeral Mass for Dom Daniel Deschamps OSB is to be held on Saturday, 22 December 2018 at 10.00 a.m. in the abbatial church of Abbaye Saint-Wandrille, followed by burial. We recommend Dom Daniel to the prayers of the Benedictine Confederation.
