Bishop Viktor Dammertz, OSB, was a monk of Saint Ottilien, as well as Abbot Primate of Sant’Anselmo from 1977 to 1992. Until his retirement, he was Bishop of Augsburg, Germany. He was an illustrious man in his service for the Benedictine Order and for the whole Church. We want to assure him of our prayers with the Requiem Mass that will be offered for him during the morning mass on Thursday, March 5, 2020. May Bishop Viktor Dammertz, OSB, rest in the splendid peace of God. Amen.<\/p>\n
