Fr. Thomas Thekkumthottam, OSB, was called to his eternal reward in the early hours of June 14, 2025. Born in 1948, Fr. Thomas devoted his entire life to God and the Church. He made his religious profession in 1970, and was ordained a priest in 1977. A beloved spiritual father, gifted retreat master, talented artist, and inspiring teacher, Fr. Thomas touched countless lives with his profound humility, joyful spirit, and wise counsel.<\/span><\/p>\n His community, while deeply mourning this unexpected loss, also celebrate the remarkable legacy of faith, compassion, and creativity that Fr. Thomas leaves behind\u2014one that will continue to inspire for years to come.<\/span><\/p>\n Also, the community of Kumily, is especially grateful to God for the time Fr. Thomas spent with them during the early days of their monastic foundation. His prayerful presence and generous service laid down spiritual roots that continue to nourish their journey.
