Over the years, he served various roles, including as a tailor, guest brother, porter, and monastery postman, becoming a beloved figure known for his kindness, exceptional memory, and dedication.<\/p>\n
As a porter for over 40 years, Brother Adalbert welcomed guests warmly, served as a spiritual counselor, and even assisted the homeless. He balanced his demanding duties with hobbies like playing the tenor horn, cycling, and swimming, undertaking pilgrimages to destinations like Rome and Lourdes. He exemplified a spirit of service, multitasking skillfully while listening to people\u2019s troubles with compassion.<\/p>\n
