They must show learning in divine law, skilful care and inspiring leadership, to name just some of the skills required.<\/p>\n<p>This course provides insights into aspects of monastic leadership that a new superior is expected to know but probably doesn\u2019t. The course has three pillars: the Rule\u2019s teaching on superiors; the canon law relevant to monastic leadership; and psychology for leaders.
