who died on 15th December 2018<\/p>\n

in the 92nd year of his age,<\/p>\n

the 71st of his monastic life,<\/p>\n

and the 61st of priesthood.<\/p>\n

May he rest in peace.<\/em><\/p>\n

Et non confundas me ab expectatione mea.<\/em><\/p>\n

Uphold me, Lord, according to your promise and I shall live,<\/p>\n

and let my hopes not be in vain<\/p>\n

(The Suscipe is sung when a monk makes his Solemn Profession and at his funeral.)<\/p>\n

Fr Aidan requested that funeral attendees wear bright colours, rather than black.<\/p>\n<\/div>
