Dom Cadfan (David) Williams OSB was born on 1 March 1937.\u00a0 On 21 March 1996, he professed his simple vows, and on 26 September 2002 was ordained to the priesthood.\u00a0 Dom Cadfan departed this life unexpectedly on 5 September 2018 at the age of 81.\u00a0 He had been professed for 22 years and ordained a priest for 15 years.<\/p>\n

The community was joined by a large congregation on 19 September 2018 for the Requiem Mass and burial of Dom Cadfan.\u00a0 The homily preached by Abbot Paul Stonham OSB at the Requiem Mass may be found via the link below.<\/p>\n

May the soul of Dom Cadfan, and all souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God rest always in the peace of the Risen Christ.<\/p>\n<\/div>
