The Lord God called into his eternal glory Brother Chrysostomus (Arthur) Kaiser OSB on Saturday, 24 May 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in 1934 in Hasssenbach, Bad Kissingen, he came to the St. Placidus <\/span>apprentices home at M\u00fcnsterschwarzach in 1948 at the age of fourteen to train as a <\/span>butcher. He made his profession in October 1953. After earning his master\u2019s diploma, he <\/span>took over the management of the monastery butchery for twenty years. During that time <\/span>he trained 27 apprentices of his own. He then took on tasks in other areas of the <\/span>monastery, such as secretary at the Egbert Gymnasium and porter at St. Benedikt in <\/span>W\u00fcrzburg.<\/span><\/p>\n

His confreres say \u201cGod bless you,\u201d dear Brother Chrysostomus, „for your <\/span>positive and friendly nature.“ May he rest in peace.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
