After his ordination in 1955 he studied in London and at the Lateran University in Rome, where he obtained a degree in Canon Law, JCD.<\/p>\n He joined the staff of St. Benedict’s School in 1958 and was appointed games master and second master in 1960.<\/p>\n Dom Francis Rossiter’s Service<\/strong><\/p>\n Dom Francis was elected an abbey councillor in 1960 and served as abbot of St Benedict’s Abbey, Ealing, for 24 years from 1967 to 1991.<\/p>\n He served as abbot president of the English Congregation for many years and Pro-Primate of the Benedictine Confederation for one year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
